The AI Company Data Initiative (AICDI) is improving access to data on corporate AI adoption to drive transparency and best practice. There is limited data on how companies are using AI, and the impact of this on people, society, the environment and human rights.
We are working with companies and investors to address this. We are building a comprehensive global dataset that can drive transparent, responsible adoption of AI, and shape how AI is used in the public interest. Through a free voluntary survey, grounded in UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of AI, we guide companies to consider a range of risk factors and empower them to take action.
Empowered by this data, we can:
Ultimately, we work to shape a world where the benefits of AI are shared by all.
The AICDI is the result of a partnership between the Thomson Reuters Foundation and UNESCO.
